We offer these specialized services to a variety of clients, including real estate
developers, corporations, power producers, schools, non-profit corporations, wireless
carriers, municipalities and industrial development agencies. We help clients achieve
results on a number of levels, including local land use review/approvals, State and
Federal permitting, and permitting/approvals under the New York City DEP regulatory
program.
In the event that our clients face disputes arising out of land use matters, we are able
to react quickly and to respond aggressively. When necessary, we have successfully
challenged and defended the decisions of local land use boards and other involved
agencies, including challenges by way of CPLR Article 78 proceedings. However, the
objective in all circumstances is to resolve disputes as quickly and as inexpensively as
possible and streamline our clients’ path toward timely approval and successful
completion of their projects.
We have also represented clients in a wide array of public -private initiatives related to
land development, including permitting/approvals for sewer, water, wastewater and
other infrastructure, governmental economic development/incentive programs, public
procurement/contracts and public finance (including IDA transactions).
