Bellucci Appointed to Chair of Tax Committee for WWBA
A prominent local attorney was recently appointed to an esteemed position within the Westchester Women’s Bar Association (WWBA). Patricia Rusch Bellucci now serves as the Chair of the Tax Committee for the WWBA.
Bellucci is the President of Rusch Associates, a tax services firm located in Pawling, as well as the owner of the Law Office of Patricia Rusch Bellucci, PLLC. Bellucci also serves as Special Counsel for the Law Office of Berlandi, Nussbaum, and Reitzas, LLP.
The Westchester Women’s Bar Association operates under the mission statement “to promote justice for all, regardless of sex; to advance the social, economic and legal status for women through the law; to expand opportunities for women and to raise the level of competence and integrity in the legal profession.” Currently, the organization’s membership includes more than 600 attorneys, judges, and law students. “I’m honored to be a part of this highly qualified, supportive group of professionals,” says Bellucci.
In her new role as Chair of the Tax Committee, Bellucci will be charged with arranging programs to promote the development of knowledge and information concerning tax law. The committee is also engaged in the study, revision, and exchange of ideas regarding tax law.
Patricia Rusch Bellucci is licensed as a New York attorney and a Certified Public Accountant. Her areas of specialty include tax consulting and planning, tax return preparation, IRS and state audit representation, and estate and probate administration.
The appointment to the Chair of the Tax Committee adds to her considerable public service at the national as well as regional levels. Since 2006, Bellucci has served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Attorneys-CPAs; she has served on the Board of the National Society for the Gifted and Talented since 2015. She also served as the Chair of the Tax Exempt Committee for the American Academy of Attorneys-CPAs from 2009 – 2017.
Bellucci has spent numerous hours serving on the Board of Directors for the Cunneen Hackett Arts Center, the Joseph J. Famularo Foundation, the Pawling Community Foundation, and Pawling Public Radio. Currently, she resides in Pawling with her husband Jim, and children Lauren and James.
